Baby Will || 17 Months

This little man turned 17 months while we were in Dallas! I cannot believe how quickly he is growing up!!

- He's moved up to size 3 diapers!
- He weighs about 18 lbs 6oz
- He is now wearing size 9 month clothes and 12 month jammies
- He can entertain himself almost all day! But i love playing with him too.
- He pulls to stand on anything and everything.
- He babbles all day long! I just love his little voice!
- He loves playing with friends! Even if they can't play with him, he likes to get really close to them
- He has tooth number 7 on its way in!
-He chews on his pointer finger a ton
- We had our follow up with nephrology and his lil kidneys are still the same! Next follow up in 6 months.
-We are still working with Kids on the Move; physical therapist 1x a month, occupational therapist 1x a month, developmental specialist 2x a month. He's making GREAT progress! We recently had a re-evaluation with them and in most areas he's at a 10-11 month old range. The area he's behind most in is responsive/expressive communication, he's at a 7 month old level currently. We are really working on naming objects and trying to get him to start mimicking!
- He took a bite of a cracker on his own for the first time ever! HUGE accomplishment for this little boy!

I am so so proud of this little boy. He's come so far since the first day we met him! I love watching him explore and discover new things. Being a stay at home mama with this boy is the best job ever!

Texas || Thanksgiving 2014

We were fortunate enough to be able to spend 2 weeks in Texas with my mom for thanksgiving! It was such a fun two weeks, too! Matt flew with us there, and stayed a week. Will & I stayed an additional week. Will warmed up to my mom SO fast! When she got home from work he would quickly crawl towards the door and welcome her like this every day!

Grammy Joyce had purchased a few toys for him and this cute bib that says "What happens at grandmas stays at grandmas"hah!

He loved helping grandma load the dishwasher!

I took Matt to Pokey O's! Create your own ice cream sandwiches!

Saturday my mom watched Will while we went to the Gaylord Ice exhibit!

The Gaylord was decorated so beautifully too!

It was so amazing!! Everything in these pictures was made out of ice!!

Matt's sister, Julie, moved to Austin this past summer so we wanted to go visit her while we were in Dallas! So we spent a day and a half with them.

We went to Zilker Park, and took a ride on the train!

Then Julie introduced us to Gourdough's! SO GOOD! Giant donuts!

To end our day, we had some hot chocolate! We added a scoop of BlueBell's Peppermint Ice Cream to it too! SO YUM! Their home is so cozy too!

The next day we went to the Thinkery, a childrens museum. Will really enjoyed it too!

They had a cute little baby area too!

Before we drove back to Dallas, we stopped at Quack's Bakery. We got a cupcake and a couple cookies! AND one of my friends from high school walked in while we were there, talk about coincidence! It was so good to see Rachel! I was so happy she got to meet Will (and Matt) too!

Thursday the 26th was our 3 year anniversary! To start it we had asian lady donuts! And then we had lunch with my mom, and then she watched Will for us while we went to the 12 Days of Christmas event at the Dallas Arboretum. It was such a fun day!

The day after our Anniversary was Thanksgiving!! Will had his cute little Thanksgiving outfit on!

My cousin Heather, and her little family came over! I got to meet and snuggle Baby Addie!

The next day Matt was flying back to Utah. We were able to make it to the Trains exhibit at Northpark before his flight!

Will LOVED it so much! It was so fun watching him (and Matt) stare at the exhibits and trains going by!

I seriously have the best of friends from high school! And I love being able to see him when our trips home overlap! This time we got to see Rachel! We got to see her last year too!

We got to go to church with my mom!

During the next week we worked on the Relief Society bulletin board for church. I think it turned out so cute!

We also got to see Dillon's basketball game!

Thursday night we said goodbye to my Dad & Dillon!

The two weeks went by way too fast, as always. But we had so much fun!
Friday morning we said goodbye to Nana Nat at the airport

Will did so well for me on the flight!

While we were home I made some home made lip balm- so that post will be coming next!!
