This little man is 7 months today! I seriously CANNOT believe it. He is growing up SO fast! We have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday so we will see how much he weighs then! 2 weeks ago he was about 10 pounds 2 ounces. Every time I pick him up I swear he has gained another pound! We are so proud of our little man!
Will is getting so much better at tummy time- he has quite the large head, so he has to work extra hard to hold it up. His hair is growing too! His everyday hair-style is a mohawk. He is such a happy baby. For the past 2 weeks he has been sleeping through the night!! We will put him to bed anywhere between 7:00pm and 9:00pm and he will sleep til 5-6am! It has been really nice to get a good nights rest! AND he doesn't cry when he wakes up. He just starts talking to himself in his cute baby-talk. We couldn't ask for a cuter, happier babe!
Will had a pretty terrible bum rash for about 5 days straight, so we ended up taking him into the doctor. While we there I voiced a concern about his muscles being pretty tight, especially in his legs. He rarely straightens them, and you can tell they're tight if you try to straighten them for him. The doctor also noticed while we were in the office that Will has a slight case of torticollis. I had no idea what this was. Basically Will has a slight tendency to tilt his head to the left. The muscles in his neck have gradually grown this way. I definitely knew he preferred to look left, but hadn't really paid any attention to his head tilting. It's especially noticeable when he is sitting up in our laps.
SO, between his tight hamstrings and the slight torticollis, we will be going to physical therapy for the first time this week! I'm hoping it isn't too torturous for the little man, but I know it will help him a lot in the long run.
As you can probably tell, we are having a TON of fun with our new Nikon. It's so much fun when you have such a cute subject to take pictures of!
Today he is 7 months old, but today is another special day. Today also marks 3 months of him being HOME. He still hasn't been home as long as he was in the hospital. The past 3 months have flown by. I've been a stay-at-home mama ever since he was born, and boy am I lucky!! I get to spend all day every day with this cute boy. He brings so much joy into my life. Enjoy some more pics of my precious babe!
