Memorial Day in Arizona

All of our trips this summer involve spending lots of time with family. We are so lucky to have so many family members, and to be able to be close with them. This trip, we are in Arizona!  Our brother-in-law, Tyson, is graduating from Medical School from Midwestern University! So we are here to show our love and support to him (also a good reason for a nice week vacation!). 

We are so proud of Tyson! He has had an amazing influence on Matt, and they are very good friends. I'm very thankful for Tyson (and Julie) and the love they've showed Matt over the years! At one point Matt live WITH them! They have such kind hearts. Tyson is doing his residency, starting in June, in Austin, Texas for the next 3 years. We are going to miss this sweet family SO much. They've been in Utah with us the past year and we have LOVED it. Especially through the birth of sweet Will. They came to visit him in the NICU lots and Tyson gave all three of us blessings before Will's PDA surgery when he was 2 weeks old. We will never forget that! They've been so supportive and loving since the time I met them! I am excited that they will be in Texas! And only 3 hours from my family in Dallas, so now I will have 2 good reasons to go visit home! Hopefully we can meet up with them in July! I know I will miss having Owen and Graham around for Will to look up to! 

In the meantime, we are loving the time we are spending with the Tidwell's, and Grandma Cindy! Here are some of the pictures we have taken so far! The first few are from a dinner we had with the Tidwell's at our house in Utah before AZ. 

Graham LOVES Will so much! It's so sweet to watch Graham kiss and love on him.

It's been so much fun so far! and we still have a couple days left. Happy Memorial Day everyone!!

Mother's Day in Vegas

We celebrated Mother's Day a little early because we were going to be in Vegas. Matt spoiled me, as he always does!

So this past weekend our little family escaped to Vegas for the weekend. We met Matt's mom, Cindy, there and had some much needed fun and relaxation!

On Friday we did LOTS of walking. This was my first time staying in Vegas, so I underestimated the amount of walking we would be doing.... after walking for a few hours I got huge blisters! Definitely should have worn better shoes! 

First we went to the M&M world! 

 Then we walked over to New York New York

 Later that day we took Will for his first swim! He loved it! 

 The next day we decided to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower!

 It was perfect weather! Will had so much fun too!

 We watched the water show at the Bellagio while we were up in the tower. So cool!

 Then we took Will swimming again, he was tired, so he didn't last too long. 

 That night Matt and I went to dinner and a show in the V theater while Grandma watched Will. We saw "V; the Variety Show". It was really good and funny! Thanks for the date night Cindy!

 After the show we walked to the Bellagio and looked inside at the garden, so beautiful! 

Sunday we just relaxed and then drove back to Utah. It was such a fun weekend!
