Oh how I've always loved Park City!! It is my dream to have a vacation home there. A girl can dream right?
This afternoon we visited my grandparents in SLC one last time before Matt leaves for basic. We had talked about going on a picture-taking adventure afterwards, but hadn't talked about the location. Matt started driving and surprised me by saying we were going to Park City to take pictures & to have my traditional birthday dinner at Baja Cantina!! I had to hold back tears because we have gone there EVERY year for my birthday for 4 years, and I was really going to miss it this year since he'll be gone on my birthday. But we got to go together after all! AND Will joined us for the first time! This time last year he was in the NICU still, so he wasn't able to come with us, so I was so happy to be able to spend my (early) birthday dinner with BOTH my boys!
We went to the Park City Mountain Resort and walked around the mountain trails a little bit and found some really pretty trees that had started changing colors! That's right, it's pretty much FALL in Park City already! We were going to try to ride the ski lift up to the top, but they said 2 years and under couldn't ride, so we weren't able to do that. After taking some pictures we went to eat. As always, it was yum! After dinner we drove around a little bit. We wanted to walk down Main Street but Baby Will had fallen asleep in his carseat so we stayed in the car and kept driving. Utah continues to amaze me by all the beauty it holds! Enjoy the photos!
