Sunday Adventures

For the past few Sundays Matt, Will & I have driven to various locations that have a beautiful view and taken pictures with our Nikon & tripod. It's been a lot of fun and we've gone places we wouldn't have gone unless we had searched for adventure. Today we went to Albion Basin in Alta,Utah. It was GORGEOUS! I don't think our pictures will show its true beauty, but here's a bunch we took! Side note: none of these have been edited, so this is basically real life!!

Such a beautiful place! and the weather was PERFECT! We will definitely be returning.

We also were able to spend time with Allison and Owen this week!! Allison has been such a great friend the past 2 years!

I'm excited that Will already has a buddy his age! We are so lucky to have the Holyoaks in our lives!

On Friday Will had his surgery on the malformation in his leg. We got to the hospital around 6:30am and we were home around 11am. The surgery went really well! Hopefully it was his last surgery ever!   In Same-Day-Surgery they give little kids capes! It's just darling.

Will was so sleepy after surgery! He slept for a good hour and a half when we got home!

We tried his cape on for some action photos!

This is his incision area. Just some internal stitching covered with some sterile strips.  This means no bath for a week, so we have been giving him bed baths basically, which reminds me so much of the NICU!

Lastly, yesterday was Jeff & Alicia's Utah Open House. It was at a beautiful home & there were snow cones there AND a BEAUTIFUL cake!! AND it was not even close to being as hot as it was in Texas! hah!

(I made that banner, no big deal :) )

We LOVE the Faldmo's! Wish we saw them more!

As you can see, we've been busy! We love love love our life. Little man keeps us on our toes! We are still working in getting him to wear those dang glasses. We have an eye and ear appointment next month. Always something on our calendar!

I know we've said this lots, but thank you thank you thank you to all who have followed, supported, and prayed for us during this adventure we call Will! We wouldn't have such a happy outlook if we didn't have such wonderful friends and family supporting us along the way. We are so so blessed to have this miracle baby in our lives. We are so thankful to our Heavenly Father for his sweet soul. We love you all!!

Love,

The Erickson's
